30th Anniversary Celebration Concert and Reception

Celebrating the Past, Sailing into the Future

On April 17, 2016, Children’s Chorus of Carroll County celebrated our 30th anniversary with a Gala Concert in the sanctuary of St. John Catholic Church in Westminster, MD. The concert featured the world premiere of a new choral work written just for the Children’s Chorus of Carroll County.  “Psalm 46” composed by our own alumnus, Dr. DJ Sparr.   The concert also featured our 30th Anniversary Alumnae Chorus.  It was truly a day to remember.

Immediately following the Gala Concert, attendees joined together in the Portico at St. John for the Gala Reception.  The theme for the day was “Celebrating the Past, Sailing into the Future.”  Along with celebrating this auspicious occasion, we also said “Bon Voyage” to our retiring Artistic Director, Ms. Diane Jones.

KIDZPO a Big Success

Our second annual KIDZPO was held on March 19, 2016 in Grace Hall of Grace Lutheran Church in Westminster, MD.

Presentations were offered on healthy eating, exercise, and etiquette and more.  Over 30 local vendors offered jewelry, aroma therapy oils, healthy snacks and more.  The event also featured an age-appropriate fashion show.

Announcing Our New Family Music Program

We’re proudly announcing an all-new program:

Family Music

Family Music is a “music & movement class,” part of the Musikgarten^® curriculum, for children approximately 18 months to 4 years old with a parent or caregiver.

Classes for both semesters are on Tuesdays, from 4:35-5:05 pm, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Fall Semester I,  September 13 – October 11

Fall Semester II,  October 18 – November 15
