Family Music Class
~18 months to 4 years old (Pre-School/Pre-Kindergarten)
Catherine Rudd is very excited to be teaching toddler music. A graduate of Towson University, she currently works as the vocal and general music teacher at Cranberry Station Elementary School in Westminster. She also serves as the Children’s Musician in Residence at Holy Apostles Church in Arbutus, Maryland. In the past, she has directed and music-directed children’s musicals that The Arts Coming Together in Carroll County (TACTICC). She has also music directed at the Carroll Arts Center. She is looking forward to working with the toddler music program!
Participate with your child in singing, listening, instrument exploration, and movement activities which are designed to enhance their understanding and ability to hear and respond to music. Through repetition and gradual introduction of new songs and musical experiences, the student will have opportunities for creative expression in movement and music. Each child must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver for each class.
Class size will be between 5 to 10 children/adult pairs.
