Concerts
Twice a year, the Children’s Chorus of Carroll County normally comes together to perform music of the season. December’s concert is full of holiday cheer and good tidings! Our Spring Celebration takes place in April and is full of music that will shake away the frost of winter.
Both concerts are free to the public, and dependent upon Covid-19 restrictions.

Other Performance Highlights
While Children’s Chorus of Carroll County presents two major traditional concerts each year — the Winter Celebration and the Spring Celebration — it is also involved in other concerts and musical collaborations.
- For example, typically each fall, one of the Chorus groups helps to raise funds for the local Safe House by performing in the annual “With One Voice Concert” at St. John Church.
- Our singers are regularly showcased at the Big Band Merry Christmas Concert, and have joined forces with Masterworks Chorale of Carroll County many times, including the 2006 premiere of Lorraine Whittlessey’s “Einsteins Dreams (It’s About Time…)” and the 2015 presentation of Palestrina’s Jesaiah dem Propheten.
Our voices have led us all over the USA and the world, and continue to do so:
- Previous performances for the Cantare Bel Canto chorus have included singing at the White House Candlelight Tour in Washington, DC, as well as at Carnegie Hall and the Riverside Church in New York City. In Europe, they have appeared in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, England, Austria and the Czech Republic.
- The two younger performing groups, Les Petites Voix and Il Coro Della Bella Voce, have performed at Hershey Park Candy Lane, the Washington DC Mormon Tabernacle Visitors Center, Port Discovery in Baltimore, and the Teddy Bear Factory in Gettysburg. Il Coro Della Bella Voce regularly joins the Westminster Senior Singers for a spring concert.
